THE REPAIR

Once in a while the instruments need a bit more important intervention. It is possible that the climatic changes cause a fracture or that a violin receives a knock and that the neck brokes down. It might also happen that a cello does not have a lot of sound in spite of a bassbar badly adjusted.

In all the cases, the instrument stays in the workshop longer. Often it is necessary to open it delicately in order to glue and insert reinforcements from inside or to make a new bassbar. Without opening it, it is possible to make a new fingerboard or a neck (maintaining the original head, we can remake the neck).
